actually this was never meant to be colored, but i tried to anyway. if you want me to change it back to black and white, tell me.

Sarahofborg:The official English dub is OUT!
Galatea:any idea who does the voices of ryuk and light?
Messiah:Light: Brad Swaile of adult Gohan fame (Ocean dub).
Ryuk: Brian Drummond of *get this* Vegeta fame.
Galatea:ZOMG! Ryuk = Vegeta?
Messiah:Light: Ryuk! What does the Death Note say about my kill count?
Ryuk: *crushes apple* It's over 9000!
Galatea:that is so win, someone should do a drawing of that
Me:*shifty eyes* I'M ON IT!!! *starts scribbling*

for those who aren't internet junkies and probably won't get this joke:

"over 9000" is an internet meme that started when a person submitted a video to youtube featuring a scene from the anime dbz where nappa asks "vegeta, what does the scouter say about his power level?" and vegeta yells "it's over 9000!!" that was edited and repeated well over 10 times.

it became so popular, it sparked countless parodies..including this one..

the drawing only took like 2 hours, inking included.
for me, it's pretty little.
sorry for making mistakes, it's only the 2nd time i drew light n l and the 1st ryuk.
The poses are the exact ones from the dbz clip, with light=nappa, l=goku and ryuk=vegeta.

i made lots of speedlines to keep up with the extremeness of DN.
i kinda like this one..
